Special grant to attend Roman
Explorers Program

In collaboration with The Ascanius Youth
Classics Institute, ETC is providing a grant for
schools wishing to participate in
Ascanius's
Roman Explorers Program.

GRANTS AWARDED FOR 2011

The New Classical Academy, $275
To Elise Anschel to build sets and costumes in
order to create and perform a play based on
Greek or Roman history.

GRANTS AWARDED FOR 2009

Trinity Christian School, $200
To Jeffrey Trexler to build a classics library
including the purchase of the Iliad and the
Odyssey.  These books will be used for detailed
study of the text in our Literature class and
would promote Classical studies.

Lighthouse Christian School, $200
To Rita O'Leary to fund activities that enable
others to understand the history and tradition
involved with the study of Latin.

Edith Hope Fine, $350
To present Eureka! Teleport Your Cryptokids
into Greek and Latin Roots and to defray travel
costs to attend the 62nd Annual ACL Summer
Institute in Los Angeles, CA.

ETC's Calliope Award is a biannual award designed to
