Awards Committee
The Awards Committee shall be responsible for recommending and awarding the funds from ETC affiliated awards, such as the Petrino Award, the Calliope Award, and the ETC Access Fund, and other such funds that ETC may acquire. The Awards committee shall be responsible for awarding such funds in accordance with policies approved by the ETC Executive Committee.

Curriculum Committee
The Curriculum Committee shall initiate and coordinate efforts to curate resources to support teachers and students in their study of the Latin language and Greco-Roman literature and Ancient Mediterranean cultures on behalf of all cooperating classical organizations by developing a variety of appropriate projects and activities.

National Mythology Exam: Pegasus Committee
The National Mythology Exams (NME): Pegasus and Medusa are given annually to over 9,000 students in approximately 400 schools nationally and internationally. The NME welcomes all students of classical mythology, grades 3-12. Committee members assist in writing questions and reviewing the exam between July and November. In 2020, the Medusa Exam became a part of the ETC Committee allowing us to split the NME to a dedicated Lower and Upper level exam.

Exploratory Latin Exam Committee
The Exploratory Latin Exam (ELE) is given annually to over 1,000 students in approximately 70 schools nationally and internationally. The ELE welcomes all students who are in the beginning of their Latin learning (not taking the National Latin Exam), typically students in grades 3-6. Committee members write, revise, and edit the exam during the summer months.

Program Committee
The Program committee shall coordinate ETC conference related programming, as well as review annually the nature, content, and format of ETC’s offerings and shall make recommendations as necessary. ETC offerings may include programming affiliated with the ACL Institute. Institute offerings include but are not limited to: pre-Institute sessions, roundtable sessions, Institution sessions, breaks, elections and bylaws processes, as well as the ETC open meeting. The Program Committee can also offer additional programming outside of ACL Institute.

PRIMA Writing Committee
PRIMA is the seasonal publication of ETC. PRIMA strives to serve educators of the classics at all levels. In PRIMA, readers find ETC news, offerings, and articles from teachers around the world showcasing best-teaching practices and exemplary activities. Committee members edit, write or solicit articles and activities with four major due dates throughout the year. We curate resources that are intended to help teachers teach Greco-Roman languages, ancient civilizations and cultures, and our exam themes. Committee members assist in developing ideas and articles with four major due dates throughout the year.

SCRIBO Writing Contest Committee
SCRIBO is a Latin composition contest, designed to spur interest and excitement in using Latin for creative writing, to honor and recognize top work in Latin creative writing and to ultimately, publish student work. Committee members assist in reviewing and grading entries between March and May.

(Ad Hoc) ETC Live Committee
ETC Live webinars are geared for high school and middle school students. Teachers purchase a yearly subscription to the video library and live sessions that can be used to enhance curricula or club activities. Sessions include lectures, demonstrations, performances, and Spoken Latin. Committee members assist in editing videos, creating teaching materials, and leading the live sessions between August to June.
